The fundamental principles of this method are to stimulate autonomy, self-esteem and emotional intelligence, so for materials to be efficient, they must fulfill three requirements: the manipulation of the child, the isolation of the difficulty and the control of the error.
1º: materials are made to be manipulated by the child and to make them feel at ease with them, not only to learn content, but to develop their senses and their perception of reality.
2º: the materials, to help, must have very clear objectives, work one difficulty, one element of the world, at a time.
3º: the control of the error; it is something that prevents the end of the activity if it is not completely correct. This ensures that the child can learn alone, the adult does not need to correct anything and the child will develop by himself with his effort and gaining confidence because he was able to finish the task.
